We're aiming for the end of October to have everything online. We've got some exciting new products coming in, and this year's catalogue is shaping up to the best yet!

Summer, What Summer?

Wow, has the weather ever been a disappointment this summer! Rain has been in the forecast nearly every day. It feels like we're in Vancouver!

On a positive note, things are continuing to go very well with our new store. We continue to bring in new and exciting products....just this week we found another local chocolatier to expand our line of handmade truffles. We got to taste-test 12 new varieties....the sacrifices we make on your behalf!

The Good Old Summer Time

We have been in our new store for a few months, and things are going very well! Customer response has been terrific, with many people saying they feel like they're in a store that you'd find in Toronto, Montreal, or any other cosmopolitan city. If you get the opportunity, you should visit downtown Almonte....it's a charming town with an absolutely gorgeous river walk!

We're Finally Open!

We finally opened the doors to our brand new brick and mortar store today (Monday, April 27)! It's been a long time coming, due to the intricacies of the heritage restoration at 65 Mill St., but enough is done that we could finally open our doors.

Our new sign should be arriving sometime in the next week or so.

Many customers came by today, and all of them remarked on how beautiful the store looked, and how it would be a valuable addition to downtown Almonte. Many people have remarked that it reminds them of some of the shops they've seen in New England, which is a very nice compliment. Cynthia has spent countless hours getting the store ready, painting, merchandising etc.

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is less than six weeks away! Hard to believe, after the Christmas/Holiday rush. We've got some excellent new designs that will be appearing online shortly, featuring artisan chocolates and other luxury treats from around the globe!

Whew!

We're officially sold out for Christmas! This has been our best Christmas yet...we weren't certain how the economic downturn would affect us, but it seems that customers really responded to our company's combination of luxury products, superior service, and beautiful presentation.

It was also our first Christmas in our new location on Mill St. in Almonte. The renovations aren't complete, so we were closed to the public, but were still able to use the space as a production facility. We're really looking forward to being able to open our doors. Our best guess is around two months from now.
